Helios V11 being compatible with Vista ... I would not hold my breathe. With their focus on Centrix I doubt we will see much happen to V11 ... unfortunate but likely.

Helios V11.3.37 ... assuming you are on support, you may at least wish to upgrade to the lastest V11.5.5 ... many issue corrected between those releases (V11.3.37 is about 3 years old)

Andy, is 11.5.5 alot better than the one I am on (11.3.37)? Maybe that is my problem. Do I just need to call Helios and ask if the will send out the new version on CD? Will I have to update my batch software as well (I'm on a WAN)? Any info. you can give would be greatly appreciated. And btw, I know you support Helios alot and I have my issues with them. But I will say one thing, You are always here ready to help people out. There are alot of people out in these forums that you have helped. That says alot.

in my opinion Ver 11.4 achieved the same level of reliability as Ver 9.4.

A number of reporting issues were corrected in V11.4 compared to earlier V11 releases. And some XP SP2 issues still existed in releases before V11.4

Beyond that V11.5 deals with Rejuvasun (compatibility with an ETS new product line) and V11.5.5 masked the Credit Card number (all but last 4 digits) on printing of Contracts (good on MC V and Disc - Amex as masked with this change no part of an Amex card number shows ... issue but minor).

Now understand I am not saying V11.4 or 5 are PERFECT ... but they are as reliable as V9.4 was and is.

We use V4 of the WAN within our chain and latest Client and Server are Rel 4.0.32

Andy, What do you mean by contracts, are you talking about credit card receipts or EFT profile screen? My EFT contracts have never printed CC numbers. I'm still on 11.4.7

you CAN format your contracts to auto-print client info.

Name, Address, Birth Date, EFT Info, etc...............

just edit the contractX.rtf directly from Helios

Lee .... there is an option to include EFT Info on the Contract

This includes the Banking info ... CC or Bank Acct

With V11.5.5 .... all but the last 4 digits is now masked (except AMEX - none of the # prints)

See pages 51 thru 53 of the V11 User Guide for info ... Page 53 lists the Database fields (or groups of fields) that can be displayed within the Contract setup.

Thanks Andy, I had no idea those fields were available in the contracts is that something new? I've been using the same contracts since 9.4 with only slight text modifications.
