TanTrack Tongal help!!

our tongal (i dunno how to spell it) a.k.a. thumbdrive is broken. it has been broken for some time, but we usually find a way to get it working. well now its doomed. ive been having to put clients in using the t-max without tantrack. we contacted nichesoft but they said we have to send it in so they can send us a new one. uh! hello we are open everyday and they are closed on the weekends so how will we send it in? has this happened to anyone before? we really aren't sure what we should do about this. they said they dont have any other way to handle the issue. if we overnight the thumbdrive we wont receive the new one for 3 days! thats a long time.

help!!!

YOu can overnighht it to them witha prepaid overnight envelope for them to send it back. That will cut some time offit. Also, you may be able to ask them to send you one first and charge you for it and refund you back the money when you return your broken one. I would just make sure they are all sent in a way where a signiture is required. I do remember this happening a while back where it got lost in shipping and the customer never got their money back!!

A company that can't at least take a credit card number as a deposit and Fedex a dongle to a customer, is pretty chicken ****.

yes i agree! they mentioned if we didnt feel comfortable sending it to them without knowing for a fact we will get a new one in return we could overnight the part, with a cashiers check for $800 (yes i did just say that) so that it guarntees it. uh yah NO THANKS!

i dont understand why they even make the program this way. hello its bound to get bent, stepped on or something its so tiny. i love tantrack but i wish this was a little more friendly.

We are not able to take a Credit Card number for a deposit because we had a previous customer cancel their Credit Card when they didnt send back their old dongle. Because of situations like this one we have to have policies in place that protect our software. Unfortunately there are some bad apples in the bunch that have made it difficult on everyone else.

Are you kidding? Not for nothing but this person's business is "on hold" and you want a cashier's check?

There is NO WAY this thing has a VALUE of $800. You may CHARGE that but gimmie a break. We aren't all retarded.

i understand. its just a little inconvient. im sure everything will work out fine in the end. we've never had any problems with nichesoft. when we have had questions they answer them promptly and the program is fantastic, very easy to teach employees and everything is self explanitory. its just tough. but im sure it will all work out.

oh yes we have the USB thingy in the front, the lady from nichesoft suggested we put it in the back, but we dont have anywhere to put it. this computer is smaller then any i have seen. weird. oh well. we'll get a new one. and it is only gonna cost around $80 to get a new one not $800, that is just some time of guarntee.
