Rep Power: 0 | Helios Back Office problems Here it is 4 years later and I started having backoffice probems again on monday. Spent countless hours on the phone with tech support and was told 3 different stories as to why its not working from needing to reinstall windows to they had no idea what to do! I was under the impression that paying $49.99 a month entitled you to all of the features of the software! A supervisor was to call me back today but of course they did not call. This is the same nonsense I went through the last time I had problems with this feature. Andy please help!! |

Rep Power: 20 | Re: Helios Back Office problems can you view it with localhost at the salon? go to Start -> RUN type in ipconfig and note the address typically xxx.xxx.xx.x type THAT address into your main computer's browser as such: xxx.xxx.xx.x/backoffice if it works, problem is NOT with Helios setup, but your router/hub/switch/ISP service setup. could be something as simple as resetting your router method. are you using a dynamic IP address provider such as dynip.com ??? |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Helios Back Office problems It works locally however when you type in the ip address in a web browser outside the network it says waiting for xx.xx.xxx./backoffice and then page cannot be displayed. most of the time the browser doesnt even try to look for it and goes to page cannot be displayed right away. Any more ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks for your help so far. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Helios Back Office problems Hey guys thanks for all the help I appreciate it. I finally got it fixed. I did a roll back on the computer back to the day before it stopped working. I wanted to do this from the start and helios did not recommend it. It worked like a champ and I didn't lose any data! If you try this make sure you do a backup on your data to play it safe. |
