I have been open for just over a year and my distributor suggested a points package that looks like this:

Great package and it is awesome from 9-10 AM during the early bird special when everything is half points. I have salon touch software and it will not do half points. I phoned TanTrack and they don't do half points. I know that it can be done with Helios, but I don't feel like paying $60 CDN a month for the rest of my life for it. So, is there any other decent software out there that is user friendly and will do half points? I am still using cards at the moment and I want to automate.

Bad move on your part if you decide to sell partial sessions as you stated. might as well just sell minutes which will lead you to selling a failing biz rather quickly.

You are selling a tan, not renting time.''you don't clean 1/3 of a bed, or wash 1/3 of a towel each time the equipment is used, do you ?

Points and sessions are the same animal, only difference is that points allow a client to move between levels without paying additional cash for an upgrade, while still putting $$$ in your pocket overall.

We increased revenues over 30% when 'points' were introduced many years ago. we still offer traditional sessions packages for those who desire to just stay in one level of tanning also, BTW.

Broken down, almost all EFT clients will use points packages, and seasonal event tanners just visiting before vacation or otherwise will purchase sessions packages.

P.S. Salon Touch should do 'half points' for EFT members no problem. it's just a value setting IF client has a specific membership. We use Helios with absolutely no problems in this regard.
