24 vs 48 hour equipment
Okay so my equipment that I have had allows tanners to tan once every 24 hours. I recently added two pieces that require the tanner wait 48 hours in between tanning. I have tried to set Helios so that it will not allow me to tan someone again for 48 hours after they have used the new 48 hour equipment. The problem I am running into is that if I put a tanner in the 24 hour bed one day and they come back in the next day and want to use the 48 hour bed, it brings up a message and tells me they have wait another day to make the 48 hours. So any ideas how to make this STUPID program work?
Helios told me that I need to set the new equipment up for 48 hours under equipment tab and under settings, operations, I need to leave that blank for allow one a day. I have tried that and I still get the same message when I try to put someone in the 48 hour bed after only using the 24 hour bed the day before. I know it sounds confusing, but it is FRUSTRATING the heck out of me.......Any ideas?

Re: 24 vs 48 hour equipment
Most units exposure schedules that I have seen recommend 48 hours between sessions. When it says week 1, 1st-3rd treatments, week 2, 4th - 6th, etc. that implies 3 sessions per week or every other day. Some go so far as to say you should limit sessions to 1 every 48 hours and some don't.
I have my system set for 1 every 24 hours and try to educate people to come every other day. If they insist, I let them tan up to once per day. |

Re: 24 vs 48 hour equipment
Well Bill unfortunately the State of NH says I have to abide by the manufacturer label of the equipment and if it says 48 hours I have to follow it!

Re: 24 vs 48 hour equipment
The other unit is a Montego Bay (cobra) which clearly states on the label 48 hours in between tanning sessions
As EBsungirl stated if the bed says it you have to follow it (State Regs) Not just a guide
