Helios 11.4.7 Question

Currently running the latest version of Helios and had a question. As it stands right now, even if a client has an expired package or has never been setup with a package, the system allows our employees to still let them tan. So, basically anyone can come in (i.e. their friends) and can tan even if they don't have a valid date range on their profile.

Is there anything in the program that you can do to prevent this? I've also noticed this ties into allowing people to upgrade to any bed regardless of their current package. They can type in the code for the upgraded bed and the system allows them to tan in the bed even if they only have a Level 1 package.

Weird! Are you saying even if they have no sessions or memberships showing on their screens you can deduct sessions anyway?

sounds to me like it may be issues with the way you have your sales codes set up.

If you have Helios Software Maintenance in force, give them a call.

If not, you can call me if you wish ... fees will apply.

with respect John ... you would have the same problem with V9.4 if the codes where not set up properly

No difference in the basic structure of Sales code, V11.4 just provides to the ability to do some things that V9.4 does not provide.

If V9.4 works for you ... fantastic ... it is a very stable version as is V11.4 ... have to love that 4 in the version number

Called Helios and I think we got it figured out. It seems I did not have a corresponding value setup under the "Bought" and "Used" section of the Pkg/Mem tab for the Sales Code. I had a value under Bought and did not have one under Used so the system wasn't able to recognize when the package expired and allowed almost anyone to tan regardless of their status in the system.

I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they can't set someone up to tan because they're no longer valid!
