Heluios help

I currently have a CCSIV timer that I have hooked up to my beds and can read all the beds and control them from the timer. I want to use my helios version 11 software to run the beds from the computer. I have upgraded to a new computer and I am connecting the timer with a serial to USB cable. Helios will not detect my timer which I bleive is becasue of the USB cable. Is there an update I need to load for Helios.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Re: Heluios help

you need a USB adapter (which it sounds like you already may have that) and then configure the USB port as assigned to a com port.

Helios Tech Support or Applied Digital can help you ... this being on the assumption that the CCSIV timer is compatible with the TMax USB adapter

Is there a separate TMax USB Adapter? I just bought one at Radio Shack, is that ok?
