Re: Gift Certificates in Suntouch??
I sell them as prepays. I sell gift cards rather than certificates. I ring it up in the name of the recipient. Then, when they come in to use it, they can spend the money any way the want to. You use their prepay to pay for it. The gift card balance and the prepay balance should always balance.

Re: Gift Certificates in Suntouch??
There is really not a good way to do it in Suntouch. You should really spend the extra $300 & upgrade to Salontouch. It keeps track of all balances on gift cards/certificates.

Re: Gift Certificates in Suntouch??
Spending the $300 to upgrade is not as much of an issue as getting this peice of @$# to do what I want or think it should.
Why pay $300 for an upgrade if it does not do everything I need, and I noticed that the demo does not allow you to do much either. If they would actually let me use the thing for 30 days, I might jump, but given the stupid things in suntouch that dont work, or are just missing, I am not willing to jump on the new bandwagon without fully testing this time!!!! I got a sac of hammers the first time.... this time I want a real test drive before I buy, not a flashy brochure or sales reps that have never used the $&^&* thing telling what it can do only to find out you CAN'T DO THAT... Star printer is case and point.... "Fully functional with star printers" they say, but in reality, only the star 200, and you cant modify or input printer settings to be fully functional with a start tsp600, will it work, sure, just dont hope for any alignment.... oops... sorry for venting, all I am saying is I would love to spend $300 on the upgrade, especially if it does what I need... but this time, I want to test drive a fully functioning software package first... NO FLASH DEMO, NO LIMITED WORKING UNIT... A FULLY FUNCTIONING (with expire date) package. PS, THANKS FOR THE INPUT BILLABLE Last edited by mrsats; 11-20-2006 at 03:19 PM. |
