Reprogram TMax timers?

Just curious if anyone has tried to reprogram the timer chip on a TXax timer... ie change from a 10 minute max to 20 or 30?

I would like to learn how to do this... any assistance would be helpful

Last I heard to change the max. times required a completely different chip.

I have made my tower do 15 on a 15 chip, but it was suppose to be a 12 minute chip. ooops!

I am thinking its a PIC chip or something, should be able to dump and reprogram, this is of interest to me, the whole new chip idea sucks. Surely someone other than me is messing around with this?

Nope, we just buy the 50 cent chip.

the chip is cheep :)

Call TWTAN, Four Seasons, or any of the other major distys.

I seem to remember a couple of bucks, at most, for each.

Takes about 5 minutes to remove the timer, change the chip, and replace complete.

defeats the technical spirit of my adventure, in the past I have had a hard time finding a 30-45 minute timer (messing around with hooking to massage bed), but thanks for the info, twtan and them must program, so I should be able to as well

distys are not programming them, just re-selling from ADI
