Re: I am desparate
I have pictures of the bed and of the fans I am talking about they are exhaust fans. An electrician came in today and could not find any wires touching or burnt , all capacitors are in working order, and the amps are 44 and 47 whatever that means. he said that should not kick the breaker. If anyone wants to see the pictures I can email them to you . my email is bdback@prtcnet.org Thanks to everyone helping me out !

Re: I am desparate
1. There is no way that bed has no cooling in the canopy. Call the company tech support dept and they should be able to answer how the canopy is cooled and what cools the facial cassette with broken glass.
2. Did electrician hang around while bed ran at least 3 sessions in a row? 3. If bed calls for a 40 amp circuit breaker and you put 50 amp in you may be causing a potential fire hazard. You need to find a tanning bed repair tech, not an electrician. 4. Amp draw can fluctuate due to voltage increase or decrease in salon, adding a buck booster, increase demand in salon(from other beds). Sometimes I've seen when all beds are running at salon, it stresses the electrical service and it will trip a breaker to a bed that has nothing wrong with it. |
