t-max mgr issues - tanTALK

i just installed a 7 bed salon running on a t-max mgr. the beds are 2000 model sundash 32 lamps. my problem seems to be that the beds communicate to the timer. i figure this is correct since when you boot up the mgr, you get 0's in the location of the beds. my problem is, you can set the time on the mgr and push start, but the time does not go thru to the bed's timer. i changed the parameter 27 in the sundash bed to "1" like the book says to if you are using a t-max system instead of a intellitan system. what i do see on the bed timer is a dot that blinks continuously quickly. the display will show 00.00 with another small dot blinking fast. any ideas would help. thanks.

Does your T-Max Manager have a key? If so make sure the key is NOT lined up with the white line (clockwise 1/4 turn). Then try to start a session.

Did you assign bed numbers @ parameter #5?

Also set P25 to3 and P26 to 0.

The Manager is seeing the rooms so the parameters appear to be set correctly on the tanning beds.

the beds are addressed. loc# 4 thru #10. locations 1- 3 have no beds in them yet. does the last sundash bed have to have a terminating plug in it also? what does p25 at 3 and p26 at 0 do? i know p27 has to at 1 for a t-max mgr. the key is turned start up and down. even tried with it out of the mgr. when you input the time on the mgr. and press start/stop button, it doesn't seem to aknowledge that command. thanks for the help so for.

P 25 is keylock option default is 3. This will release the bed from network after 30 seconds. After 30 seconds you should be able to use the bed from your rail pad. P 26 is third party interface mode. Default is 0. How is your network run? Should be just 2 wire from jack to jack using red and black connections.

the network is ran with color code black, red, green, yellow. i got the mgr to pick up the beds and communicate since the display shows a "0" in those locations where beds are. the mgr worked last night allowing minutes to be set on the beds. the key was turned wrong. i thought that i had tried it that way but i guess not. thanks for your help on this matter.
