Equalise lamp hours.

My manager thought Helios has a feature that will flash the bed with the lowest hours at the selection screen so you can keep the hours evened out between beds. Is this true? If so, anyone know where you turn the feature on?

Re: Equalise lamp hours.

Don't know anything about Helios, but Tan Track shows the next bed to be used in bold black. I keep all my beds with even hours and not being much over a hour difference on any bed. Nice feature.

Re: Equalise lamp hours.

You can set it up so that the bed with the lowest amount of hours flashes (lowest amount of the available beds in that class) I know there's a place where you set it up but For some reason I can't remember or find where it is. I could be wrong on this one but I think even if it doesn't flash the lowest hours available is always furthest to the left

Re: Equalise lamp hours.

It is actually the bed with the highest hours left (same thing really).

In EQUIPMENT setting on the second tab (sorry do not have Helios onthis computer to give you name on tab) ... there are 8 buckets ... the first is the only one that relates to this feature ... it MUST be the first bucket .. for Lamp Hours. Enter the Life value, it will start tracking the hours used and Left. YOu can reset Hours used ... double click on the field, it will ask if you wish to reset to zero ... answer no if you wish to enter todate value and key the value ... F10 to save

Then on the bed selection screen make sure your are set to Sort and Flash ... the bed with the highest hours left will be first and flashing as the recommended bed.

This feature only works with TMax Manager as your timer.
