Adding Beds
I was wondering if i should retest all of my voltages after adding a bed? I have recently added a bed and plan to add up to 4 more beds. With all four beds, will my voltage drop across all the beds if they run at the same time. All but one are hard wired in. To test the voltage. Would it be best to turn on all the beds and measure the voltage at the breaker (easiest) or at the beds (pain in the wooha)?

Re: Adding Beds
Amperage is the important thing when adding beds to the salon. You need to have a licensed electrician check your panel and see how much service you have left and whether or not it will support what you're planning to do. Voltage will always fluctuate throughout the day, but won't spike or sag much beyond a few volts under normal conditions. Don't sweat the voltage except in cases where your primary is 208v and you need 220v+ to run the beds. Then they'll need to bossted. Hope this helps. Good luck. -Belvy

Re: Adding Beds
"licensed electrician" LOL, yeah right!!!!!!! My panel is a 200amp panel. So adding the beds will not decrease the amps needs to run each individual bed. So long as i don't go over my 200amps and pop the main breaker.
