I need something else

We are currently working with an older version of SunEase. We want to switch to something, anything other than this crappy program. We want to be able to use our cash drawer and receipt printer. We are also looking for something simple and good tech support. Any ideas?

I recommend the Helios software. I prefer the page layouts and reports options over the other software packages on the market. The tech support has always been extremely willing to help me. I also liked the looks (GUIs -Graphic User Interfaces - page layouts) of Sun Lync from JK Ergoline and Salon Xpert. Hope this helps. -Belvy

SunEase can such my left *** cheek as far as I'm concerned. I hear good things about Helios. Don't want to spend hundreds on a new cash drawer and receipt printer though. ggrrr.

Call Wendy Rocket at Nichsoft and run your questions by her. Maybe Tan Track is compatible with your cash drawer and printer. Good luck.

What cash drawer and printer do you have?

You know, I'm not even sure. I know our receipt printer is a Citizen. There is no model or anything on it. And the cash drawer, clueless. I will have to try to find the manuals when I come back from out of town Monday.

If you talk to Helios, they are usually pretty vague about what's compatible. I imagine it's so they can sell their own stuff to you, though we bought a few things (like a barcode scanner) from CompUSA and it is compatible. You could install a demo of Helios (which I think they'll send you if you ask) and see if it's compatible before spending any cash on a solution.
