Cable from Cash drawer to receipt printer?

I have a Ster TSP600 with a cashdrawer that came from helios. I do not have the cable that connects the 2, is it regular phone wire?

It appears to be, on mine. Is there a spot to disconnect on your chas drawer?

Yes there is a connection on the cash drawer. The plugs where wire connects looks like regular phone plug but just checking to make sure it's the same

Not sure but I do not believe it is a standard phone cable

If you purchased from Helios I would like they could also source a replacement cable for you

If not ... a distributor of the Cash Drawer should be able to source a cable to connect to a Star printer

It's not a telephone cable. Call this toll free number and tell them which printer and cash drawer you have.

You may be right. Mine has 6 wires. You could make your own using phone line.

No its not the same as phone wire. I believe the cable you need is called a network cable. Phone wire for ex. starts on one end red white and green; bet then comes out the other end green white and red......they cross the wires. Also one end is usually a little bigger on the cable you need. Just went through getting another one.
