Rep Power: 51 | Will any ole cable do??? Let's just say you were blonde and misplaced your T-Max box from a year and a half ago. Can I just get a cable from a computer place to hook up the manager pro to the computer? What about the ADNET or whatever else was in the box I needed? Help a blonde out. *flips hair but bonks head on wall*

If your computer has a un-used DB9M your good to go with the serial cable, if your computer has a DB25M, in addition to the serial cable you will need a DB25F (F=Female, a connector with 25 sockets) to DB9M serial port adapter to connect between the serial port on your computer and the serial cable coming from the T-Max. Your local computer store should stock those too. If there is no un-used serial port on your computer your local computer store should stock plug-in serial port boards if there is an available slot on your computer's motherboard. ADNET is Applied Digital's computer software to control the T-Max if you don't have salon software that already does that. Good Luck. Tom | |
