That is such a helpful reply - just like most of your post are - a waste of space. Got you another post though - good for you - you are such a good mod - at least you have stayed out of the corner for a while.

Re: Unique customer vs total customer

Unique Customer I believe is different client #
VS Total Customer mean customer #1871, can buy a lotion and tan in a bed, he is 2 customers that day, but one unique customer. I don't have helios, I have suntouch.
unique customer can tan 99 times in one year, toward total customer count, but it was 1 person.
I was just trying to clarify myself again!
HOPE THIS HELPS!

Re: Unique customer vs total customer

OK lets say Sally Jones tanned at your salon yesterday..Then after the bed was started "oops she forgot to go potty."

So she asked you to reset the bed. ... and YOU do.
Afew more restarts later with other clients..now at the end of the day your total tans are 67..but unigue clients that tanned are really 59.

At the end of the year that adds up --for those of us who are report/stats freaks and anal about real numbers unique client number mean something.

Re: Unique customer vs total customer

Yes i am one of those freaks - thank you. I get it - i will stay with total customers and sessions. I reset beds through the CCS or void the tan and restart - that is only because i am a freak though. The numbers that hurt me are the poeple that come in and buy a UV tan and a Spray - that is rally one visit - in the computer i have to record it as 2 sessions - drives me batty.

Re: Unique customer vs total customer

on a given day Unique and Total Clients should be the same.

but, if Sue visited your salon 10 times in January she would be 10 Total Clients and 1 Unique Client.

If a client did visit the salon more than once on a day the client would still only be counted once per day ... except they would could as one on each employee if served by more than one employee but only one as well in total.
