salon software

My wife & I own a video/tanning salon. We are expanding our tanning section to six beds with 2 more in the near future. We have a POS system but need to leave behind the paperwork and go to the computer for tanning members. We sell out lotions and packages trough our rental/sales software. What should we use? Helios is a P.O.S. system and we can't afford to have to do things twice.

Re: salon software

You can use the “Search” link at the top of the page on keywords like “Helios”, “TanTrack”, “SunEase”… to find previous post on any of the applications. It’s sort of a beauty contest though, everybody has their favorite. So I would recommend that you read the previous posts here for points that make sense to you and for your business, then narrow the options down to one or two application to demo. Here is a list of Salon software and their demo links, this is an important decision and seems like one only you can make.
Good luck.

Re: salon software

CALL TANTRACK AND I'M SURE YOU WILL BE IMPRESSED. I HAVE WORKED WITH MANY TANNING PROGRAMS AND IT IS, BY FAR, THE EASIEST!!

Re: salon software

see the problem with tantrack, helios, & sunease is that they are point of sale(POS) systems. I have A POS system already.

Re: salon software

I have a client with 11 tanning/video rental locations ... they use two POS systems.

One for Video and one for Tanning ... different transactions/clients so not really a problem

It will be more confusing to try and run a Client Management system for tanning without POS ... you will have no control points.

Pick a Tanning POS and put your lotions etc into it and use it for your POS for Tanning
