Rep Power: 113 | Helios reports question OKay this is probably something I should know already. But I get dizzy every time I try to figure it out on my own. When you look at a YTD report for total sales, it has Products and Tanning as the two main categories. Does this mean that Gift Certificate sales are NOT included in this total, and if so, do GC become a sale when something is purchased with them?

Rep Power: 25 | Re: Helios reports question Depends on the report and the Helios version you are referring to. Helios V11.4 .... Daily Sales and Dept/Div reports reflect the sale of Gift Certificates in Misc to the right of Services and Products. Most other reports include the sale of Gift Certificates in Services. When items are purchased with the Gift Certificate that is reported as Service or Product depending which it is and IF you have selected to include Non Revenue in the report. |

Rep Power: 25 | Re: Helios reports question If you include Non Revenue then YES .... but .... your departments and divisions should separate Gift Certificates and other Non Revenue items ... Prepaid, InHouse Charge, Bonus Bucks. It is not that the Sale is recorded twice ... but there are two transactions impacting the report depending on the report options you select |
