Helios EFT

We are currently using Helios 11.4. Is it possible to use the EFT function in helios to track EFT's without using helios to settle EFT's. We want to use our credit card company as our means of collecting the monthly fees.

Re: Helios EFT

Yes ... but V11.4 provides no method of exporting the info for stand alone processing as other software does.

You will have to process the transactions manually or have someone with experience with Access extract the records to be processed.

You can use the View function within Helios to report and post offline if you wish.

Hope this helps ...

Re: Helios EFT

Are there any reports in Helios that would identify how many times per month our EFT clients tan on average or what the average length of time an EFT client stays on the EFT program?

Re: Helios EFT

You can write all of these report and process your own EFT's using ACCESS. I have been doing it for years. I also have non-programmer friends doing the same thing. It takes a little time and knowhow but it's worth it in the end.

Re: Helios EFT

Movieking...you will not find the reports you want without creating them outside of the program. It takes awhile to get use to... "it must be here", "we need to know this", but no, no, it's not there.

Re: Helios EFT

Thanks Dana. These are the types of reports that any software should have. I can't understand why Helios would not want us to have the ability to analyze our business?

Re: Helios EFT

Is there any way to set an automatic alert to notify you to charge them when their payment is due.

Re: Helios EFT

MovieKing...I understand. I have gone around and around.
I have met you, and you will not be happy with the reports.

We are just moving to Sunlync...but I think we will still have to create our reports that we would like to see. It seems like a "basic" but it is not.

It just depends on your goals. Helios is great for the masses.
I like Sunlync now, it just gives us a lot of options and takes us to the next level. If you have one salon, I would stay with Helios.

Re: Helios EFT

No .... most Helios Users bill all EFT's on the same day of the month

If you use multiple dates you will have to remember what those are
