The brand/model isn't typically as important as the interface, or how it connects and talks to the system. There are 4 "standard" ways for your cash drawer to connect:

Parallel
Serial
USB
RS232 (connects through a printer)

You'll want to touch base with your software developer to make sure which they support.

Ellas - What APG model do you have? Salontouch wants a couple hundred bucks. i know i can get one online cheaper.

APG will not give customer support if you are not the original owner. You need the Serial # before they will even talk to you.

I just want to know the models supported by Salontouch. I'll still buy new from a point of sale business. Just not from interactive designs.
