Okay TanTrack users, give it to me.

I've got some questions.

How do you work your different levels of beds? If someone has level 1 minutes and wants to go in a higher level bed, what do you do? We take double minutes for someone going up a level but you can't do that with TanTrack.

What about someone who has a level 1 month unlimited and wants to upgrade for a visit?

We also have products that will only have one tax and the lotions are both taxes. There's no option for how many taxes apply when you enter each item. I suppose I could put it as a service?

I'm sure I'll come up with more questions.

1. Stop selling minutes
2. Sell sessions.
3. Sell upgrades from one level to another higher level bed.

I can't help you with TanTrack programming.

Nobody sells sessions here. They won't like change. I'm not messing with it.

Selling the upgrades is what I was inquiring about. I want to know how it unblocks the beds their not allowed in with their level 1 package.

I have TT and have 3 levels and have a "service" for the different level Upgrades and also built ina service called "Free Upgrade" and" Referral Upgrade" this works for us. The tax ? is still something that perplexes us but may be a question for Nichesoft. I don't have multi-tax situation but it does get confusing for gift baskets. Not sure what's up with the tiny font it is annoying though.

What version of Tan Track are you running? My version allows you to do ALL of that. When you go into Inventory and then packages you can set all of that up. You have the option of how many minutes. You also can do a upgrade, it is all VERY simple, I'd need to know what version you are running to walk you through it.

To do a upgrade, simply add a new package and make it, Upgrade from level 1 to Level 2, then go to restrictions and check the room # that bed is in.... and set the how many tans in this package to 1.... there ya go :)

And as for your tax problem, What you DO NOT tax put under Packages... no tax there.

Ill try to answer as best as I can here but would like a little more information. First are you talking about upgrading an entire package or just one session? Second what taxes are you having trouble with (HST, GST, PST)?

We have GST on tanning, GST on our nutritional supplements, and GST & PST on the lotion. From what I remember on the demo during set up you check both taxes for the products but then it puts both and every product entered.

I'm trying to find a way to make the minutes work. I want it to take double super minutes to go in a mega bed and half mega minutes if they go into a super bed. That's the only thing that made me wait this long to get the software.

Thanks Malibu, that's how I figured the upgrade wouldn't work but wasn't sure.

I scared about the whole computer/drivers/reciept printer/cash drawer set up. Will I be back here swearing? Me and technical computer stuff don't get along. I'm not even sure I know what a driver is and if it was working right.

Oh boy, I need a drink already.
