I read or heard V11.4 will prevent an employee from tanning if they are still clocked in. How so?

Not true....it just let me send time to a bed. I am clocked in. I used my own initials. I dunno??

TRUE ....

make note of the Client # for the desired Employee - and go to Management - Employee

Bring up the approriate employee

On the first screen (General), entry the employees Client #, near the bottom of the left column of fields ... Save

Now whenever this employee is clocked in, the entered client# can not tan

Sorry....yes, that worked. I didn't have my client # in my employee "file".

Create an Employee Membership ... and "sell" that membership to each authorized employee (no fee).

Require that "EMPLOYEE" membership to in force (the USED field) in order to allow an employee to tan

That way only the Client #'s that you enable the Employee membership get to tan at employee rates ... and your clockin routine controls that aspect.

Password protect the sales code that establishes the EMPLOYEE membership so only authorized management can create an EMPLOYEE membership on a client.

You will also need another sales code to CANCEL the EMPLOYEE membership ... on the Pkg-Mem tab set the Membership Variable to VARIABLE and the code when sold will prompt for an expiry date to deactivate the membership.
