Help with tantrack

We recently networked our two salons with tantrack. The main program is just fine, but the salon we networked with the program is way too slow. It takes almost a minute to click people in. How can we speed it up? Help!

We have DSL, the fastest that Yahoo offers I think

Sounds like a job for a Tantrack IT person.

The thing that you need to look at for your DSL connection is the upload speed. If your download speed is at 3 mb/s but the upload is only 384 kb/s (which is average) then the upload speed is going to control your salon software, because when you request that info from TanTrack on the main computer it can only send it at 384 kb/s to the second computer which would explain the slowdown. You may want to call your Internet Service Provider to see if you can upgrade your upload speed. But keep your eyes on TanTrack because we are currently testing a possible data storage solution for salons on our servers. Our servers will have the fastest upload speeds available so it will eliminate this issue.

ok, I have takled with sbc and my computer guy and they say there is not much I can do about this. Are there any updates on tantrack fixing this? It's going so slow now its non existant. I hate to spend the money to change, but we have to have a program that works.
