Helios 11.4 and Fingerprint scanner

When I click on register fingerprint on the server machine helios closes to the desktop, but the timer software is still running. Any suggestions. It works fine on the client machine and both are identical except for the server and client software.

I am using Windows XP with service pack 1, and the digitalpersona 4000b. I have switched them between the computers and they both work on the client.

sounds like the driver for the fingerprint may need to be reinstalled.

Give Tech Support a call to help you resolve this issue.

Thanks for the response. I have tried to reinstall the driver a couple of times. I tried them at another store and had the same problem. out of four systems only one works correctly.

You will need to deal with this issue you Helios Sales and Support. In other situations you have both been able to get the driver/device working and/or exchanged the device until they get ones that work.
