Why is it that if you want to print out a customer's history, it also prints out the void dales...but they appear as if they are not voided. eg...someone has a minutes package...I put their time in..then they decide to go to the restroom...I F6 the sale..& when they come back I put the tan thru again.
A month later & several tans later, a cutomer questions whats left on their package...I F8 history..& print...on the print out..the voided tan is there...its so annoying. is there an way to to stop this?
Thks for advise.

Huh? Stop voiding tans cause they went for a whiz. You must be using the program to send to the timer. Another useless feature, along with the appt. book..

Set your timers manually. I have T-Max units, and I set them manually not thru the computer for this very reason.

Stupid to not use the computer and system for what it's best designed for. If the issue is the delay feature, simply disable the delay time, and move on. Most clients get in/out anyway, and the very few that take a little longer will love you for it.

I assume you work the store by yourself, and no other employees anyway, so it doesn't matter with the Manager, but using the computer tracks employees. In your system design, an employee could give away the shop all day long, and you'd never even know about it.

Hint: Delay gets set to infinite delay in the Manager Parameters, and you're done with it. Client needs to hit the Start Button when they are ready to begin the session.

I agree with you on most things John ... but not this one.

It is highly desirable to set time thru the system, and as sun2go points out with employees ... ensures they do not impact your retirement.

Back to the orginal point ... was not aware that Voided transactions appear on a print of Activity history ... they do not display on the screen ... will check it out.

Even it this is correct ... it would not be corrected in V10 ... will advise.

While it is nice to be able to track your employees. I see this as a delay in a busy salon when you are making a sale for one client, and have others waiting to tan, but you can't start the timers until you get to their screen. Is that the way it works?

Andy, Thanks for bringing the subject back to my original question. When Helios 10 came out, I upgraded both my salons, however one of the discs said helios 10.1 & the other one said helios 10.2..I thought this issue would not be the case for both versions...but it is.
I'll be interested to know what you find out. I haven't upgraded to 11 yet...wonder if this occurs in 11 aswell.
One other difference I have found between 10.1 & 10.2...if i have a package of minutes for example, that expire after one year, in 10.2 after the expiry date, they just become grey (unhighlighted), in 10.1, they actually disappear...this came as a shock to me. What happens in helios 11 ?
Thks for your help.
Claudia

Will try and get to test the original issue this week.

Most likely the difference regarding expiring packages relates rather to the way you have your System default settings ... set ... would expect you will find that the location where they are disappearing, you have packages set to Delete Expired, and the other location is not set to Delete Expired. Go into System Setting and go to the Package/Membership tab ... are the Package Accumulators set to Deleted Expired ... down the right column.
