I'm looking into these two programs, and would like to hear some pros/cons from those with experience in these programs.

I really like SunLync, but I'm trying to weigh the upfront cost with the monthly fee of Helios.

Do any of these programs synch up with say Quickbooks? I don't want to have to replicate the accounting effort by manually inputting all the info.

I'm worried about using a strictly internet-connection based program w/Helios.

Thanks for your input!!

I would go with SunLync. I started Helios at the beginning of the year and had several problems. Their customer service is very poor IMO. Don't go with the monthly program with them as it's a nightmare to get out of! GOOD LUCK!

Does TanTrack work with the online version of Quickbooks or just an installed PC version? I will be using the online version for like $20/month.

Also - can I access TanTrack remotely (on my home computer)? That is an important consideration of mine.

Thanks!

A large majority of whom I would consider the "smarter" major players in the industry have moved to Sunlync. That says a lot to me.

If you are just going to have one location, largely staff it yourself, etc -- it could be overkill and something else might be "good enough". But if you want state-of-the-art features at every level, I'd stick with Sunlync.

My advise after 6 plus years is stay far away from Hellio's very poor support help and the software always has problems.
Now let me ask for help who should I switch to, who is the easiest to imput the inventory, packages etc.I need new software and I need to make the correct decision this time.

Re: Opinions on Helios vs. SunLync

Nichesoft or Niche Sux’s

You Decide

Up until now I have been relatively happy with the software. No problems Just a glitch here and there. Well that all changed quickly. Here is the deal…what would you do?
I ordered an updated ****** switch (a ****** switch as it is call is used to make a demo program on the computer work at its full Potential) from this company. When I received it, I was to send back the one that I have working now. I was charged $65.00 to my credit card and they sent it Fed-Ex. They faxed me a contract stating what I was supposed to do when I received the new ****** switch.
Well bottom line is I never received it!
Not only are they keeping my 65.00 dollars they are going to try to go to collections for $800.00 for the my ****** that I didn't return to them. (As per contract) If I return mine my program will not function and I will no longer be able to do business Fed Ex has already told them they were at fault here. Due to they did not ask for a signature (witch would have cost them $1.50) Fed-EX will not honor there claim.
The problem:
Fed-Ex has told me that they have a new policy. They have sent out numerous letters to all account holders. They no longer require a signature at Private residences--- if you choose to get a signature it would cost a small fee of $1.50. but even better than that we would not be going throw this mess if they asked one simple question.
WHERE DO YOU WANT THIS PACKEGE SENT!!!! I would have told them to send it to my salon where someone is always here to sign for it. Not to mention the way I was treated when I tried to resolve the problem that they themselves created. Also I am expected to not only pay for the product I ordered and 800 bucks…
So to sum it up, tell you that theses people do not care about their customers. All they care about is making a quick buck BEWARE !
STAY TUNED FOR MORE TO COME ON THIS SUBJECT

Re: Opinions on Helios vs. SunLync

I currently have Sunlync for the past 4 years or so and they have been great. There support and software is alot better than Helios.
