I am having trouble configuring my T-Manager with my Tan Track Software. It has no problem setting the time but I keep getting error messages that it is having problems communicating. Does anyone have any ideas why this isn't just recognizing the bed etc. Also Tan Track didn't move one of my clients to the bed when I selected it. Any help would be great, please pm me or send me an email.

The first step is to use AdNet which came with your T-Max just so you can test that the computer can in fact talk to your T-Max. If AdNet is unable to see your timer, then TanTrack won't be able to see it either. This will at least rule out or identify that the problem is computer related.

ADnet seems to find the manager no problem.

Then I'd make sure the settings in AdNet - COM port, BAUD, Parity, etc. are set the same in TanTrack. Then, with AdNet closed, you can use TanTrack to talk to the timer just fine. Its Windows that handles the communications to the device so if one works, the other will as well.

You can't change the serial port settings in ADNET. They are fixed. The serial port settings are as follows:

Baud Rate: 9600
1 stop bit
8 bits
No parity
No hand shaking.

In TanTrack when you choose any timer from the list of available timers, those values are all set for you by default. You can change them in TanTrack but of course its not recommended and generally not needed. The only value you'd really change would be the COM port although in 99% of the cases its going to be COM1 for your timer.
