Was wondering if anyone knows where to find what codes to send to a t-max timer pro. I am writing my own software and cannot seem to find the codes anywhere. To make a lil bit more clear. I need the codes that you send to the tmax over the serial port.

videogirl25,
What are writing your software with?
Have you checked T-max's web-site?

take a look at:
http://www.appdig.com/manual/mgrpro.pdf

Let me know if it's in there.

I am using Visual Basic 6. Just a basic membership/appointment book right now. I would like to be able to control my beds using the same program.

I'll see what I can dig up with the manufacture, they're generally pretty good about this type of information, but sometimes they’re under "nest feathering" pressures from established industry players or just (amazingly) plain don’t want to deal with little guys. I’ve dealt with that type of thing in the past by cabling a dumb terminal with an “AUX” port between functioning devices to capture serial communications.

I toyed with one in MS-access mainly data structure, main screen, a few configuration screens, a basic outline really, but never had time to drill down on it.
Sounds like fun though, wish I did have the time.

PM you when I find something.

Tom

Yes, I'm sure if you contact the major timer companies, they will be very happy to share there patents with you.
