Rep Power: 0 | Strange situation here. I am trying to help someone during a medical crisis. Her aunt (a salon owner)is in the hospital and she is trying to help keep her business running while this lady recovers. They are using Helios and since I also use Helios, I agreed that I might be able to help her with the system. (She's far enough away that I don't consider her to be competition.) Anyway, she doesn't have administrative password access and the lady in the hospital is really out of it so she can't ask her. There's a girl who works there part time but she only has access to shift reports. Long story short, is there any way to get into these areas? My husband offered to talk to his IT guy at work but I'm thinking, "a password is there for a reason and I'm sure nobody can get around it." True or not? She did call Helios initially and they told her that they only support the newest version. I haven't been there yet so I'm not sure version it is. What can I do to help her? Thanks! |

Rep Power: 20 | There is a way she can view all passwords in helios...... If you go to Management, then password, key in any valid password. Click on find, it will list all employees and their passwords. Kind of silly that this can be done, whats the use behind passwords then, if any staff member can see this. ???????? Hope this helps you. |

Rep Power: 107 | Unfortunately, this is a security issue. And considering this is an online forum, and no one really knows who we are dealing with, it would not be appropriate to offer info to "crack" a password. |

Rep Power: 0 | Thanks Neon Beach, for turning my offer to help someone that I barely even know into something ugly. It seems like such a tragedy that her business should go down the drain just because she was in a bad accident. I just wanted to help her figuring that what goes around comes around. Obviously, not a moto you live by. Thanks to those who did try to assist me but I won't be checking back into this forum anytime soon. I don't need these bad vibes in my life. |

Rep Power: 0 | First off her salon can still run without taking reports right now that's something that does not be done and can be delayed. Second off maybe ask her the password. Most people understand this is a security issue. |

Rep Power: 25 | suncountry ... I believe your post that was moderated by GENIUS (thank you GENIUS) is incorrect ... it you believe it to be correct I would like to talk to you because maybe I am missing something. tcn813 ... for Helios to provide you with assistance here would be TOTALLY inappropriate. They have no way of knowing that you are authorized to gain access. ONLY the registered owner of the salon would be provided with such assistance. |
