Andy,
I am to the point now where only 2 days worth of backups will fit on a CD. Can the Presettle & TSummary txt files have to be saved or can they be deleted? Also there is a file called OldDemoDB that is in the Data file, can it be deleted from helios or does it need stay?

Get yourself a usb flash drive or even a usb hard drive. They are cheap, fast and convenient.

That an external hard drive are the best ways to do back ups. The external hard drive is a solid method. You might want to use the jump stick once a week or twice just incase of fire or anything else that may damage the external hard drive.
