New client driving me crazy!

I'm a network engineer. MSCE SNE CCNA

I have a new client who has a Tanning salon and is driving me crazy over software. She doesn't want to pay big money for software 1 shop 6 beds. She's now looking at Helios since I told her I'm not a programmer. What I've read Helios cost $39.00 month yours to keep if you quit paying the fee. However from what I've read in this forum. If you do quit paying the monthly fee you must surrender the dongle. If you don't you will be charged $399.00 for the dongle. If you do surrender the dongle the software will become useless.

Her salesperson says this is not so. I'm sorry but I've been in the business to long. Sales will say and do anything just to make the sale. Your insights will be greatly appreciated.

Software Maintenance with Helios is 39.99 per month. This provides ongoing program updates and entitles you to FREE Technical Support during Helios office hours while your SMA is in force.

You can cancel anything, you are not required to return the dongle ... you are no longer entitled to updates or support.

If in the future you wish support or an updated you will have to pay a $399 re-enrolment fee and all back months that you have not paid.

The Only thing I don't like about any of the software that I found is that you can't pay by montly bill. You have to have it taken from a Credit Card or checking account. Helios from what I rember says they can change the price of the support WITHOUT notice and never would I sign a contract with someone that gives them the right to have my account with full access to ALL my MONEY! For all I know they could be about to go out of business and decide to charge your account for $10,000.

Helios is owned by ETS. I doubt they are going out of buis anytime soon. And you have a contract stating the fee which is going to be taken out. If your dealing with a reputable company I would not worry about things like this.
