Need some help here please. My beds has gone crazy. It just starting beeping yesterday, when I reset the T-max manager(pro), none of the beds show up. I figured out that two of the beds are the cause of this. If one or both of the beds are in the chain of the T-max manager, the T-max does not recognize any of the bed. I bypass those two bed, the T-max recognize the beds. Those two beds work fine if the terminators are plug into the units. All the beds ard ETS beds

Sorry for the late response. I just saw this post.
This means that there is something wrong with either the timers in the beds or setting on the timers in these two beds. Check the addresses first (on the tanning bed in the two rooms in question). Make sure they are set to the correct room numbers. Duplicate addresses can cause this problem. If that does not fix this, then there is a problem most likely with the communications chips on those two beds. Kevin Barrett ADI Tech Support |

Thanks for the response. It was the comm chips. Replaced the chips, the beds are working with the T-max manager now. There is another problem, The computer is not seeing the T-max manager. Could it be the comm chip in the T-max manager that is bad?

There is an RS232 chip in the T-Max Manager that could be the problem. It could also be the computer's Serial port.

Yes the chip is user replacable (it's in a socket). Simply pry the original one out and replace it with a new one. You can get one from any of my distributors.
