I'm getting an error message saying overflow when i try to access my beds using the tantrack program, but it works fine using adnet. I recently had to reformat the whole computer cos my system crashed, and eversince, haven't been able to set the timers using tantrack... Tech support couldn't help, saying it may be a hardware problem... How do i fix this?

Re: unable to communicate to tmax via tantrack!

Actually, both of you have two different issues.

With the overflow message, that is most commonly seen when the system is trying to check the lamp hours as you start up TanTrack. This occurs when you have a bed set to use the timer that doesn't really exist on the timer. For example, you have 10 beds but room 2 is just an empty room. If that does not resolve your issue, please let us know directly.

The solar 6 issue is in fact a driver issue for the USB Adapter from T-Max and not at all related to your issue. Installing the latest drivers for this adapter will resolve that issue.

Installing the latest drivers has not resolved the issue. What now?

Re: unable to communicate to tmax via tantrack!

Apperantly there is some sort of hardware failure between the computer and the T-Max. Many times an adapter or cable may have gone bad which may cause intermitant problems with timer communication. One way to test this is to connect your timer directly to the computer using a serial connection if you have one, this will tell you if it is a problem with the usb adapter or usb cable.
