Thanks for all the input! Figured it out! The bed triped the circuit it is tied to and therefore... no power to the bed then no power to the TMax. I flipped the circuit breaker and viola! it came back to life. Whew! Saved me a service call!

hi , anyone know why my tanning bed wont turn on? i just had two electricians out to install 220 to my house for a bed and the bulbs are not turning on. the fan wont come on either. i dont have the timer hooked up nor do i know how to hook it up. could that be the problem? seems like i should be able to turn it on by using the timer on the bed.

I'll try. What kind of bed is it and are any of the controls lighting up on the bed indicating that there is power going to it?

Turn the breaker on at the electrical panel.

yes the bed does have power it is a sunsource 5000. the only thing that lights up is the timer on the bed it counts the time down but the lights never come on. someone said something about the wiring being possibly disconnected. who knows how to get to that though???

Who's the mfr? Chances are you either need some sort of bybass, or there is a paramater on the board that needs to be change to enable manual operation? When you say time is ticking down, do you mean time on the t-max 3a, or is the time ticking down on a display that is attached to the bed? Must ... have ... data ... error ... error!

COMMUNICATION CHIP ON THE BACK OF THE 3A(WALL TIMER) COULD BE BAD...THIS WOULD NOT BREAK THE DAISY CHAIN, JUST SIMPLY STOP THAT ONE TIMER FROM COMMUNICATING WITH THE MANAGER.
