SalonTouch - Computer Slow

OK... My brand new computer is running very slow. SalonTouch will hardly respond when trying to check clients in or do to anything for that matter. I had it attached to the internet but not currently. I have run Norton, SpyBot, and computer system checks but nothing comes up as being bad. Any ideas? I have never heard of an Access database slowing a computer down but I am up for any suggestions.

If Norton is scanning, it's really slows us down.

Check what is running in the background.
