Is there a way to void an in-house charge? When I try to void it, it just tells me "cannot void an in-house charge". I would like to void the entire sale. By the way, is there some sort of "training mode" on Helios? The whole reason I want to void the transaction is because I was just training a new employee, it wasn't an actual sale...

How?? Everytime I void the transaction, it tells me "this transaction cannot be voided. Cannot void an in-house charge."

Did not want to spit it out. Key is keep this function a password function. Your staff should only be allowed to shift reports.

In addition to Deleting the Transaction you will also have to go into Master Edit on the Client and correct the Balance Information related to the InHouse charge transaction that you deleted.

Best approach would be to use Helios on another computer. You could copy the Data Directory from the salon and replace the Client.mdb with the Client.mdb from the Demo Data or BDB Directory on the CD.

The only restriction to operating Helios without the Hardware Key (dongle) is that you can not process a Point of Sale transaction without the dongle with more than 25 clients.
