Can i connect Tmax Manager pro directly to my sundash r32 - 7 y.o. or do i need to buy an extra Tmax 3a timer to link sundash r32 with tmax manager pro?

See another post in this section. Older than 1996 require the 3A, later models have the timers built-in

Either way, I'm sure you need a "remote" timer. The manager is used to set timers, and not act as a timer itself. In other words, if the bed doesn't have a built in T-Max, you'll need a wall mounted 3A.

A seven year old 232 bed (circa 1997 ~ 1998) should speak T-Max.
Set parameter #5 to the bed address & parameter #27 to 1 (T-Max mode).

this bed has only 19 parameters. I heard that i can upgrade the timer software on the bed. Is it really possible?

If the timer only goes up to parameter 19, it will not speak T-Max.

There is no way to upgrade the software.
