I just recently purchased a used sundash bed for home use. It came with an intellitan 4 button remote timer. The timer lights up and the Up/Down buttons will change the minutes on the display but the start/stop button will not turn the bed on. Being an electrician I bypassed the timer and jumped the hot wire to the red wire and the bed fires right up. Does anyone have any ideas as to why the timer won't turn the bed on? I've been searching around the web for a couple hours now and cannot find any situation like this. I found a site that sells replacement circuit boards but the $250 price tag is not in my budget, especially since I don't even know if it will fix the problem. I have no paperwork for the bed or the timer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Maybe just the timer mebrane for the remote to trouble shoot disconect external timer (or fancy on off switch) and see if the bed will start stop as stand alone.Using the keypad on the bed. What year is the bed? there should be a timer display in canopy if newer then 1998 if older it should be on the rail. If it's an older 424sl make sure the on off switch in the back is in the on position.Probably the timer or membrane.
