I will give this a shot without getting the manual for my sundash out. If i remember models before '95 required a T.P.I. to hook up to the tmax timer. I am not 100% sure tho. The tpi is an addon.

Sundash beds older than 1996 will require a T-Max 3A timer.

Re: TMax with older Sundash Beds

You would have to replace the cards on the older beds and these cost $250 each. You may also have to replace the rail timers and these cost $150.00. Some of the first Sundash beds still utilized mechanical timers. These can be converted more easily by using a t-max 3A wall timer. It is difficult to implement t-max 3A timers with the 1993-1996 models. This results as the timers has more functions. The newer sundash beds have circuits to keep the cooling fans running after the bed shuts down. The newer timers have circuits for cool down and delayed tanning, PatParadise

Re: TMax with older Sundash Beds

I was given a SunDash Platinum R32P for my house but it did not come with an owners manual I have yet to figure out how to remove the protective plexi-glass from the top panel so that I can replace the bulbs. There is not any visible screws, pins, etc...that I can see. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
