Just installed a new server and went to set up the old T Max, however the new computers and servers don't have Serial Ports they all have USB's. Does anyone know if TMax makes another manager with the USB or if I need to find an adapter? I was on applied digital site and did not find any info on this.

All new Managers ship with a T-Max USB converter.
Helios and Sunlync include our driver in their software.

Dan,
Thanks, I hate to get a new manager, mine works fine. Would a serial cable card work?

I've looked for "adapters" to go from USB to serial, are they common? And are they common for serial to USB? I have never seen one.

PHD, I just had the same problem. Went to Radio Shack purchased the 9 pin to USB cable, followed directions with it, installed software, works perfect. Don't know RS catalog number but I can get it Monday if you need it

Yes, we've had to use those as well...I guess I didn't think about it in context, but we have a customer for the POS busines that uses Epson TM-U220 roll printers for their mobile routes. When they got new Dell laptops, we had to get them those convertors from Radio Shack, too...

Usually, if I put together a PC, it will have at least 4 serial ports, so I guess it didn't really cross my mind...
