Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I think this question is for Andy. (please moderate if you think this might expose too much info) We are new to Helios, and was wondering if anyone else has asked about why Helios sends the time out to the timer as soon as you sale the customer the tanning sales code? We've had it happen where we sold a tan (on sessions) and some one forgot to "End Sale" Now obviously we're the salon owners, but we think there is a potential theft problem with how Helios handles this. Is there any plans to possibly fix this issue to where the timer is only sent the time after the "End Sale"? We have not contacted Helios about this, should we? Now obviously if an employee done this, it would show up "on a report". I'm not sure how this would affect a suspended sale too? Also, concerning the timer functions. What about a button to clear the dirty bed(s) on a T-Max timer system? Since switching to Helios we went from single 3A timers, to The Manager. Several times a week an employee, or even owners have pushed the wrong buttons (wrong room), and reset someones session. I think that if Helios handled this it might lead to less problems, not to mention make the timer just a time display item. We are new to this board, and have learned a lot from all of the previous posts! We have programmed the "tanreset" code in Helios, which was a great idea! Thanks for your input. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | As far as forgetting to 'End Sale' you won't be able to put another transaction in until you close out of the first one. The dirty bed function is a setup of parameters in the Manager/3A equipment, and then you can push the UP arrow `4 seconds and will go to Clean Status. You always have the option in the Bed Selection screen to over-ride a 'dirty bed' status' if you know it's been cleaned. Wrong room problems are very easy, as you just void the tan transaction and put put them into the bed of choice. You have up to 59 seconds AFTER the bed has started, unlimited while in DELAY to Void the tan and put them in a different bed. You can also set up two Codes that can control beds without affecting Accumulators or Monies, and make this a flagged transaction so it shows up BOLDED in the daily reports. I use STOP and START for the times when beds need to be re-set orother reasons. The Description line in these codes is variable, and employees MUST enter a reason, and a good one, or they pay for the tan themselves out of bonus $$$. One of the suggestions I can make is to remove a delay time completely in the salon equipment, then you'll never have to reset a bed after hearing, "But, I GOTTA go to the potty, NOW" right after sending time to the room. |
