Can anyone help me setup my Helios 9 software. We are currently configured for minutes packages and we want to go to points where $1.00 equals one point and will properly deduct from the customers account when a bed is assigned. We are currently doing it in a roundabout way by using PPD then buying minutes into the cust account then assigning a bed, but this is taking 3 steps when we should be able to do it in one step. Thank You

Go into the sales code area.

Using say, BP (buy points) as an example of a code to sell points, configure Helios to add whatever points you want or have assigned to this sales code. Do this under the Pkg/mem tab in the "add" area.

To deduct a session, make a code for each level of tanning being deducted, and under the pkg/mem tab, enter the number of points you wish to deduct per session (in the "subract" area)

If I were to do this, I would set the code up so that the number of points being purchased can be entered during the sale, rather than a code for incremental points.

In the sales code area:

Under the pkg/mem tab, click on variable, or (v) and enter a maximum number for the points that can be purchased. Now when you make a sale under that code, a window will pop up on the client screen and ask the seller how many points are being purchased. Enter the amount, hit enter until the sale is complete and you get the total for the sale of the points.

You can also set up separate sales codes for different levels of Points at different appropriate price levels.

IE:

BP100 - Buy 100 Points
BP200 - Buy 200 Points

Here the Amount Add on the Pkg/Mem tab would be Constant with the appropriate Default Price.
