Helios data restore not working - Page 2

DOS? That's old. Never actually saw one.

TanTechie: I just noticed you said you copied the files from the CD, do you mean you used the "restore"?

Neon - nope, copied from backup cd. The woman who was working the shift used Nero and just backed up the data directory. However looking over the cd and seeing the .ldb lock files - I doubt seriously that she shut down the program first. We found another backup cd from a week before those useless files. It still puts us back to Sept 2004 but it's better than losing the whole list. *sigh of relief* We'll still work at possibly restoring the hard drive that went kerplunk. Thanks again all.

That is the good thing about multiple salons that are networked......the auto remote back up to the server.....just "set it and forget it"
