I have a special running right now that involves a discount a a certain amount of tanning sessions with the purchase of a certain lotion. Currently, I have it set up that I have to enter the lotion at the regular price, and then a code to sell the tanning at the appropriate price. I did it this way because of the taxes involved in the sale. 2 taxes on the lotion and only one on the tanning. Is there a way to combine this transaction into one code, charging the appropriate taxes and removing the item from inventory? Or am I doing it the only way?

John ... no way to handle it combined and have the proper tax on each. You are doing it the only way that it would be proper.
If you were give a FREE session with the purchase of Lotion that would be possible. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss upgrading you to V11. MANY enhancements and another group coming shortly. Hope you understand that in future I must comply with Helios Policy regarding support on V9 ... V11 is some much improved in so many ways. Please give it a serious look John. |

Aaargh! I knew that would happen. I like the new features that Helios had, but Im too used to the screen I have now. Plus that'll cost me more money, and I'm saving up to buy a Mystic. Maybe if I got a 36 month free evaluation period?

The cost of upgrading may (will) be much less that you may be thinking John ... and in no way compares to the investment required for a Mystic ... not even in the same solar system.
Do not miss out on an opportunity ... the end of the year is fast approaching ... best you give me a call so you are able to make an informed decision regarding the nominal investment required to update. Many of the new features can in fact generate revenue if utlizied properly. I would HATE to see you stranded with a problem with that older software. Helios appreciates your many kind words in the Internet communicate and wants to retain you as a valued user for many years to come. So sad that some users will not make use of the many current enhancements that are about to be released ... take the time to call and find out the actual cost of upgrading ... I suspect you will be PLEASANTLY surprised. |
