I like the concept, no doubt! However, it wouldn't take me long to discontinue using it after one knucklehead books most of you day, you have no appts. left, and they are all no shows. Now if the system required your client to have let's say a P.I.N. in order to access the appt. book, then I would feel more secure.

thats interesting. I would think that the system would have rules so that a registered person could only book one appointment/day at most.
From what I have seen on this stuff, 1% of online bookings are no-shows as compared to 9% for phone -in. Just something I found... |

When a Customer first logs onto the BookYourself site for your salon. They must create an account for themselves. This is password protected, so only they can book future appointments for themselves.
The account can also be created by the Salon and the Customer can change there password in the future if they wish. To-date the issue you raise has not occurred with any user but that may just be an matter of time. There has been discussion related to requiring an account to be initially created within the salon and the Customer provided with a Login ID and password. Not that way at this point but most likely would be considered in the future. |

Good news ... one additional security feature that is present in BookYourself.com that relates to the concern above.
The Salon Owner is allowed to set the maximum number of appointments that a client is allowed to have in the system at one time. As I stated before, you also have the option to only allow new clients to be added by staff and then the customer can book online. The system tracks the IP address from with the appointment was booked ... SO ... user is traceable if necessary. |
