This is the situation, two independent T-Max 3A’s working as a standalone timer, each controlling one Sunvision Pro 28LE 2F bed. There is no T-Max manager being used.
When powering up the T-Max 3A it reads “41”, then “. 1”, then “0”. All functions of the timer seem to work properly; delay, on timer, clean bed. However the bed will not start. All the parameters seem to be set properly. I set both timers to address “1” as they are standalone units and I set the both bed addresses to “1” as well. After setting the bed addresses they will flash a “2” before returning to “0”. The beds run fine with the built in timer (also a T-Max?). The manual for the bed says to set the T-Max 3A address to “0” and the bed to “1” however, the T-Max 3A manual says not to set the timer to “00”. Well, I set the T-Max 3A to “0” however when returning to the operation mode the timer will display “41” and beep for a period of time then stop for a few seconds then start beeping again. I have tried running a different cable directly to the bed and there is no change in operation. Do the beds/timers need powered up in a certain order? Help.

Thanks,

Steve

If the bed has a built in t-max - you should only be useing 1 other timer outside the room.

The T-Max 3A is located outside the room.

Set the bed address to 1 and the 3a being used as a master to 0. If the 3A sees the bed timer then the 3A will go to 0 after it powers up. You only use one 3A as a master. The bed timer is the only in-room timer needed. You can use a 3A in the room but you then need to use the timer jumper cord supplied with the bed, but that's a different scenario.

It sounds like you don't have the addresses set correctly.

Sounds right. If you have the manual handy follow it as stated above carefully and it should work. On online PDF manual is available at:

OK, have the manual (see original post), only timer in the room is the bed timer. Should the address for the 3A be set with the network connection removed from the bed the reconnected? Should the bed be powered down, then set the timer and restarted?

ensure your wire connection from the t-max to the bed is correct you may or may not need to have a jumper on the t-max timer.

Ok, I got them working. It was several problems. Wrong adreessing of the 3A's along with switched communication wires between beds and a bad cable. Thanks everyone.
