Rep Power: 25 | Assuming your files in the Data Directory ... which is what you need to move to the new system after you install V11 on it ... are larger than will fit on your Zip Drive, they download either WinZip or WINRAR to compress the files and hopefully they will then fit on your ZIP to move them to the new system. If you wish to you can send me an email and I will reply attaching the executable to install either of the above compression programs ... they work great and have an evaluation timeframe in which they are free of cost. Lets see if that does it for you ... if not there are other alternatives. Hope this helps ... _________________ Andy Thompson Authorized HELIOS Independent Consultant Office: 877-777-6717 CELL: 317-529-0041 andy@myatso.com[ This Message was edited by: Andy @ MyATSO.ca on 2004-07-15 18:35 ] |

Rep Power: 0 | Andy thanks for your prompt response and info, so in your opinion it is better to back up files that i have in 11 right now and zip them and just copy them over to the new pc, and forget about v9 coversion all together? which folders would i need to copy to the zip on the old pc to put on the new pc. again, thanks for all your help |

Rep Power: 25 | DaveD ... that assumes that you did a conversion of your V9 Data and have been using it in V11. As sun2go says above ... all the databases in the Data Directory, the Contract1 thru Contract9 forms and Release form if you have modified them, and the Pictures Directory if you have been taking pictures ... all the above being inside the Helios11 directory. |
