Assuming XP Professional and Helios V11
First create a Limited Account for staff you use ... this has MANY advantages not just this one ... ie ... can not change System Date. In order for Limited Account to work with Helios V11 you have to do two things: 1. in REGEDIT ... HKEY Local Machince ... Software ... Helios ... right click ... Permissions ... ADD ... Everyone with Full Control 2. with Simple Sharing TURNED OFF ... in Sharing and Security ... Security ... ADD ... Everyone ... Full Control Temporarily make the Limited User an Administrator ... remove all references to Internet Explorer ... then return the User to Limited account type. Activity Internet Security within your Brower ... requiring a Password for any site that is not a "Trusted" site. I will get the step by step instructions from someone that know more than I about actually doing this ... and post more later. |

FYI ... Cutting Edge ... an employee that has an Internet account at home could use that account and password ... dial into there ISP and they would be on the Internet using their account on your computer at the salon.
