Receipts showing charges not being charged??

I have a client on Helios8 who prints receipts and charges are showing on the receipt that were not entered in. This is random, each one may show different additional charges. The only saving part right now is that it is not actually charging for these "ghost" charges, they are just showing on the receipts. Anyone got any ideas on the problem and what to do to fix?

helios 9 conversion, then go to latest version of helios 11

8 is an outdated version no longer supported

besides that there are a ton of features in the newest versions

Problem is that the client is trying to sell the salon within the next month or will be closing the doors. Upgrading system is not an option in this case.

then the issue is also mute ...

for whatever reason there must be transactions in the system with duplicate ticket numbers .... it is the ticket number that causes multiple transactions to appear on same receipt.
